Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a variety of healthcare settings. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician, the Travel LPN will deliver direct patient care, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, and adapt quickly to new clinical environments while maintaining excellent standards of care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care according to individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and promptly report changes to the supervising RN or physician
  • Administer medications, injections, IV therapies (where permitted), and prescribed treatments
  • Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, specimen collection, and other nursing procedures
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures
  • Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and health management
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Adhere to infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies
  • Adapt quickly to different facilities, workflows, and patient populations during travel assignments
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience in acute care, long-term care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medication administration, patient assessment, and nursing procedures
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
  • Ability to travel and adapt to different healthcare environments

Pay Rate
$28.51 - $33.39/hour
