Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care across a variety of healthcare settings. The Travel LPN will deliver direct patient care, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams while adapting quickly to new clinical environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies
  • Assess patients, obtain vital signs, monitor patient conditions, and report changes to the supervising Registered Nurse or provider
  • Administer prescribed medications, injections, IV therapy (where permitted by state regulations), and treatments within the scope of practice
  • Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, specimen collection, and other clinical procedures
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility, hygiene, nutrition, and comfort measures
  • Prepare patients for examinations, diagnostic tests, and treatments
  • Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Collaborate with physicians, Registered Nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and continuity of care
  • Follow infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies
  • Adapt quickly to new healthcare facilities, workflows, and patient populations while maintaining high standards of care

Required Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in the state of practice
  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles, medication administration, and patient care practices
  • Excellent communication, organizational, critical-thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced healthcare environments
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care

Pay Rate
$28.51 - $33.39/hour
