Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care across various healthcare facilities and clinical settings. The Travel LPN will support patient care through assessments, medication administration, treatments, documentation, and collaboration with Registered Nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams while adapting quickly to new environments, workflows, and patient populations.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with facility policies, standards of practice, and scope of practice
• Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by providers and according to facility guidelines
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and patient responses to care interventions
• Assist with wound care, catheter care, respiratory treatments, and other nursing procedures as assigned
• Implement nursing interventions based on individualized patient care plans
• Communicate patient status updates and changes in condition to Registered Nurses, physicians, and healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, assessments, treatments, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, comfort, and safety needs
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and ongoing care instructions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe and effective patient care
• Follow infection prevention practices, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
• Adapt quickly to different facility procedures, policies, and clinical environments
• Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and a patient-centered approach throughout assignments


Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in the state of practice
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent LPN experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, patient care procedures, and clinical documentation
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments and workflows
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
• Willingness to travel and work flexible assignments

Pay Rate
$37.90 - $42.78/hour
