Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care across various healthcare settings. The Travel LPN will deliver direct patient care, administer treatments, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with healthcare teams while adapting quickly to new facilities, workflows, and patient populations. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to providing safe, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians
• Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in health status
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed within scope of practice
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and patient responses to care
• Assist with wound care, catheter care, and other nursing procedures as required
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Communicate patient updates and concerns to supervising nurses and healthcare providers
• Support activities of daily living (ADLs), patient comfort, and safety needs
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient outcomes
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
• Adapt quickly to different facility policies, procedures, and care environments
Required Qualifications:
• Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in the state of practice
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent LPN experience preferred
• Prior travel healthcare experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, patient care procedures, and clinical documentation
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced healthcare environments
• Willingness and ability to travel for contract assignments
Pay Rate
$29.95 - $34.83/hour
