Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality nursing care in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. The LPN will work closely with residents, physicians, and the healthcare team to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor, assess, and document residents' health status and changes in condition.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Provide direct patient care, including wound care, catheter care, and other nursing procedures within the LPN scope of practice.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and changes in resident conditions.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and nursing standards.
- Promote resident comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in the state of practice.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
Pay Rate
$37.90 - $42.78/hour
