Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing basic nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians. LPNs assist with patient care, medication administration, monitoring patient conditions, and maintaining accurate documentation while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Perform basic wound care and dressing changes
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Observe patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
- Assist physicians and RNs during examinations and procedures
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and families
- Ensure a clean and safe patient environment
Requirements:
- Active LPN License
- BLS Certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced healthcare settings
- Knowledge of EMR documentation systems preferred
Pay Rate
$44.40 - $49.28/hour
