Travel Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
Position Summary
Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients while traveling to healthcare facilities for temporary assignments. Assist with daily activities, monitor patient needs, and support the nursing team in delivering safe, quality care.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
- Provide support with meals, hydration, and patient comfort.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive patient environment.
- Observe and report changes in patients’ physical or emotional condition.
- Follow care plans, safety procedures, and infection-control standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Adapt quickly to different facilities, workflows, and patient populations.
Qualifications
- Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant/LNA program.
- Current LNA/CNA license or certification in the applicable state.
- Previous healthcare or long-term care experience preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to travel assignments.
- BLS certification preferred/required as applicable.
Pay Rate
$17.00 - $20.39/hour
