Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Travel Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. The LNA will assist patients with activities of daily living, monitor patient conditions, support the healthcare team, and help maintain a safe and comfortable care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
- Measure and record vital signs, height, weight, and intake/output as directed.
- Observe patient conditions and promptly report changes to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with patient transfers, positioning, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises.
- Collect specimens and assist with basic nursing procedures as assigned.
- Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity while providing compassionate care.
- Ensure patient rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Document patient care accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Follow infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program.
- Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification/license in the state of practice.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of recent LNA experience in an acute care, long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of patient care techniques, infection prevention, and patient safety.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments and travel assignments.
Pay Rate
$18.40 - $23.28/hour
