Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Travel Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. The LNA will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor patient conditions, and help maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive care environment while adapting to various healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Obtain and record vital signs, height, weight, and intake/output measurements
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, ambulation, positioning, and range-of-motion exercises
- Observe patients and promptly report changes in condition to the supervising nurse
- Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times
- Assist with specimen collection and other basic clinical procedures as directed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Follow infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, and patient safety standards
- Ensure patient rooms and care areas remain clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide quality patient care
- Adapt quickly to new facilities, workflows, and patient populations during travel assignments
Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification/license in the state of practice
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent LNA experience preferred
- Experience in acute care, long-term care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or hospital settings preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
- Flexibility to travel and work at different healthcare facilities
Pay Rate
$18.40 - $23.28/hour
