Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Travel Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and other licensed healthcare professionals. The Travel LNA will assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitor patient conditions, support nursing staff with routine clinical tasks, and quickly adapt to different healthcare environments while delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care.


Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and personal hygiene
• Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, repositioning, range-of-motion exercises, and mobility using proper body mechanics and safe patient handling techniques
• Obtain and accurately document vital signs, height, weight, intake and output, blood glucose levels (where applicable), and other patient observations
• Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition, behavior, or physical status to the supervising nurse
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient transportation as needed
• Support nursing staff with specimen collection, dressing assistance, and other routine patient care tasks within the scope of practice
• Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests while ensuring patient comfort, dignity, and safety
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked patient rooms and clinical areas
• Accurately document patient care activities in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or facility documentation systems
• Follow infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies and procedures
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support quality patient care and positive patient outcomes
• Adapt quickly to new facilities, workflows, documentation systems, and patient populations while maintaining high standards of care


Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license/certification in the state of practice or eligibility to obtain licensure as required
• Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Licensed Nursing Assistant experience required
• Previous travel healthcare experience preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of basic patient care, infection prevention, and patient safety practices
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced healthcare environments and adapt quickly to new assignments
• Physical ability to lift, reposition, transfer, and assist patients safely throughout the workday
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered, and high-quality care

Pay Rate
$18.40 - $23.28/hour
