Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Travel Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide direct patient care and support daily living activities across a variety of healthcare facilities. The Travel LNA will assist patients with personal care, mobility, comfort, and basic clinical needs while working under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in diverse clinical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using appropriate safety techniques
• Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, weight, and other patient information as assigned
• Observe and report changes in patient condition, behavior, or safety concerns to the supervising nurse
• Assist with patient transportation, positioning, and comfort measures
• Maintain patient rooms, equipment, and supplies in a clean and organized manner
• Support nurses with routine patient care activities and clinical tasks within the scope of practice
• Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic medical records (EMR) when applicable
• Follow infection prevention practices, patient safety standards, and facility policies
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support quality patient care
• Adapt quickly to new healthcare facilities, workflows, and patient populations
• Promote a positive patient experience through professional, respectful, and compassionate interactions
Required Qualifications:
• Active, unrestricted Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license/certification in the state of practice
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant training program
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent LNA experience preferred
• Previous travel healthcare experience preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of patient care principles, safety practices, and infection prevention standards
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different healthcare environments and facility protocols
• Ability to lift, reposition, and assist patients safely while performing physical job duties
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
Pay Rate
$18.40 - $23.28/hour
