SOUTH CAROLINA LOCATION
Therapist will provide services in South Carolina. Covering 3 counties - Barnwell, Aiken, and Edgefield. Majority of our patients are in Aiken county or Barnwell county. Scheduler tries hard to help group patients together on specific days to keep the travel time lower and help with productivity and efficiency. I don't anticipate driving more than 70 miles per day. Most days will be around 20-30 miles max with some days much lower and others a little higher.
Mileage: Yes paid at IRS standard rate - Tracked through HCHB/Epic
Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers accepted
Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
Certifications / Licenses Required: BLS, SC License or Compact PT OK (Check member state eligibility with licensingallied@aya)
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Home Health PT - Joint replacements, COPD, CHF, T2DM
Ratio / Census: 6 visits; average daily census of 175. Full Time Productivity is around 25 units.
Unit Systems: Home Care Home Base (HCHB) highly preferred. Transitioning to EPIC around September 2026.
* If the clinician doesn't have experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB), they will be required to complete an online HCHB course prior to starting. The course is *** and must be paid by traveler upfront (margined).
Scrub Color: Any color
RTO: MAX 7 days
Weekends: None
Floating: Yes, within facility/scope of practice as needed
Call Requirements: Not specified
Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
CLINICAL SCREEN - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.

Please Note: Number of Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) Hours is determined by contract length (ex 8hrs for 8 week assignment; 19hrs for 19 week assignment)

$65.21 - $70.09/hour
