Physical Therapist – Acute Care Hospital

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide evaluation and rehabilitation services to patients in an acute care hospital setting. The PT will assess mobility and functional limitations, develop individualized treatment plans, and help patients safely improve strength, mobility, and independence.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients’ strength, mobility, balance, range of motion, and functional abilities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, gait training, and other interventions.
Assist patients with transfers, ambulation, and use of assistive devices.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients and families on exercises, mobility, and safe discharge practices.
Coordinate rehabilitation and discharge planning with the healthcare team.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Follow patient safety, infection control, and hospital standards.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license.
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
Previous acute care or hospital experience preferred.
Knowledge of therapeutic exercise, mobility, gait training, and rehabilitation techniques.
Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.

Pay Rate
$63.79 - $68.67/hour
