TDY Licensed Practical Nurse – Long-Term Care (LTC LPN)
We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to provide quality nursing care to residents in a Long-Term Care setting on a Temporary Duty (TDY) assignment. The LPN will administer treatments, monitor resident conditions, and support the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal resident care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions and report changes to the RN/physician.
- Administer medications, IV therapies (as permitted), and prescribed treatments.
- Assist with implementing individualized resident care plans.
- Provide wound care and support activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Supervise Nursing Assistants and ensure quality resident care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with LTC policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of long-term care, geriatric nursing, medication administration, and resident care.
- Ability to work temporary duty (TDY) assignments and adapt to varying facility needs.
- Previous Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Rehabilitation experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$42.94 - $47.82/hour
