Surgical Technologist – Operating Room (OR)
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to support the surgical team during operative procedures by maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring all instruments and supplies are readily available.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the OR, surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
- Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures.
- Pass instruments, sutures, and supplies to the surgeon.
- Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts.
- Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and draping.
- Clean, inspect, and restock instruments and equipment.
- Follow infection control, safety, and OR protocols.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Active CST certification preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and aseptic technique.
- Previous OR/Surgical Tech experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$52.85 - $57.72/hour
