Surgical Scrub Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Scrub Technologist to assist surgical teams by preparing the operating room, instruments, and supplies for safe and efficient procedures.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain the sterile field before and during surgery.
Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures.
Anticipate surgical team needs and provide instruments promptly.
Perform surgical counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies.
Maintain sterile technique and follow infection-control protocols.
Prepare and clean the operating room before and after procedures.
Handle specimens according to facility procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation and inventory.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred/required as applicable.
Current BLS certification required.
Previous operating room experience preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
Excellent sterile technique and attention to detail.
Ability to anticipate the surgical team’s needs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
Knowledge of infection prevention and operating room safety.

Pay Rate
$60.47 - $65.35/hour
