Surgical Scrub Technologist (Surgery Scrub Tech)
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Scrub Technologist (Surgery Scrub Tech) to assist in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize the operating room, instruments, and surgical supplies.
- Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgery.
- Perform instrument, sponge, and needle counts according to facility protocols.
- Prepare, inspect, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Active state license/certification as required by state regulations.
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred or required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and operating room procedures.
- Previous operating room or surgical scrub experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$45.22 - $50.10/hour
