Surgical Technologist (Surg Tech)
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist (Surg Tech) to support surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile environment and assisting the surgical team with safe and efficient patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize the operating room, instruments, and surgical supplies.
- Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures.
- Pass instruments, supplies, and equipment to surgeons during procedures.
- Perform instrument, sponge, and needle counts according to protocols.
- Prepare, inspect, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assist with patient positioning and surgical site preparation.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification preferred/required.
- Active state license or registration, if required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instruments, and operating room procedures.
- Previous operating room or surgical technology experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
