Sterile Processing Technologist / Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech
We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technologist / Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech to prepare surgical instruments, maintain sterile technique, and support the surgical team in providing safe patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
- Prepare surgical trays, instruments, and supplies for procedures.
- Maintain a sterile field and assist the surgical team during procedures.
- Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon as needed.
- Perform accurate surgical counts and follow infection-control protocols.
- Monitor and maintain proper functioning of surgical and sterilization equipment.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology or Sterile Processing program.
- Current CST or Sterile Processing certification as applicable.
- Current BLS certification preferred/required.
- Knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instruments, and sterilization procedures.
- Previous operating room or sterile processing experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate
$51.32 - $56.20/hour
