We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sterile Processing Technician to support safe patient care by ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, disinfected, sterilized, and prepared for medical procedures. The technician will follow established protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness, accuracy, and organization while working collaboratively with clinical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and assemble surgical instruments and medical equipment.
• Inspect instruments for functionality, damage, and completeness before packaging.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and inventory levels.
• Prepare and distribute instrument trays and supplies to clinical departments.
• Operate sterilization equipment in accordance with safety and infection control standards.
• Follow established protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality guidelines.
• Collaborate with surgical and nursing staff to support timely workflow and equipment needs.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Sterile Processing Technician program or equivalent experience.
• Certification (CRCST or CBSPD) preferred.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control principles, and instrument handling.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
