Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Sterile Processing Technician to join a healthcare facility's Sterile Processing Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, sterilization monitoring, regulatory compliance, instrument inspection, and staff education within a sterile processing environment.

Responsibilities

Perform quality assurance activities within the Sterile Processing Department.
Monitor sterilization processes and ensure compliance with facility policies and industry standards.
Conduct instrument inspections to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and proper assembly.
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to sterilization and quality processes.
Support regulatory compliance initiatives and readiness for surveys and inspections.
Assist with staff education and training related to sterile processing best practices.
Collaborate with department leadership to identify and implement quality improvement opportunities.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of Sterile Processing experience.
At least 1 completed travel assignment preferred.
Documented experience in:
- Quality Assurance
- Sterilization Monitoring
- Regulatory Compliance
- Instrument Inspection
- Record Maintenance
- Staff Education and Training
Current Sterile Processing certification required:
- CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) or
- CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution)

Pay Rate
$17.00 - $17.00/hour
