Sterile Processing Technician (SPD Tech)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to ensure the proper cleaning, sterilization, assembly, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment to support safe patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
- Operate sterilization equipment and monitor sterilization processes.
- Prepare and distribute instrument trays and sterile supplies.
- Perform quality checks and maintain instrument inventory.
- Follow infection control, sterilization, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization records.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing, instrumentation, and infection control.
- Previous Sterile Processing or Central Supply experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$37.60 - $42.48/hour
