Sterile Processing Technician
We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to ensure surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, inspected, and prepared for safe patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, disinfect, inspect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assemble and prepare instrument trays for procedures.
- Operate sterilization and decontamination equipment.
- Maintain accurate sterilization and equipment records.
- Follow infection control, safety, and sterile processing standards.
- Inspect instruments and report damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CSPDT or CRCST certification preferred/required.
- Knowledge of sterilization, decontamination, and infection control procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Previous Sterile Processing/Central Sterile experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$50.71 - $55.59/hour
