Sterile Processing Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Supervisor to oversee sterile processing operations, ensure proper instrument reprocessing, and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and infection prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily sterile processing activities and staff assignments.
Oversee cleaning, decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and equipment.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention, sterilization, and safety standards.
Monitor equipment performance, sterilization processes, quality checks, and documentation.
Train, coach, and evaluate staff while promoting consistent department procedures.
Coordinate with surgical and clinical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies and instruments.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; sterile processing or healthcare-related education preferred.
Current CSPDT, CRCST, or equivalent certification preferred/required based on applicable standards.
Previous sterile processing experience with supervisory or leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of sterilization methods, infection prevention, and surgical instruments.
Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Pay Rate
$45.22 - $50.10/hour
