Speech Therapist
Provide evaluation and treatment for patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. The Speech Therapist will develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and educate patients and caregivers to improve communication and functional independence.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy to improve speech, communication, cognition, and swallowing function.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, strategies, and home programs.
- Recommend appropriate communication or swallowing aids when indicated.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required as applicable.
- Previous clinical experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
