Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders. The Speech-Language Pathologist will develop individualized treatment plans, educate patients and caregivers, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to improve communication, swallowing function, and overall quality of life.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and rehabilitation goals.
  • Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing impairments.
  • Conduct bedside and clinical swallowing evaluations and recommend appropriate dietary modifications.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, swallowing techniques, and home exercise programs.
  • Maintain accurate evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Participate in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care.
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of practice.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred or required based on facility requirements.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Speech-Language Pathology experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.

Pay Rate
$58.94 - $63.82/hour
