Speech Therapist – Long-Term Care (LTC)
We are seeking a compassionate Speech Therapist to provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy to residents in a long-term care setting. The Speech Therapist will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and promote communication, swallowing function, and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and swallowing safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident care.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Speech Therapist license.
- Master's degree in Speech Therapy or related field.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, cognitive, and dysphagia therapy.
- Previous Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Rehabilitation experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
