Speech Language Pathologist
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. The Speech Language Pathologist will develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapy, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with caregivers and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients’ speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide speech, language, communication, and swallowing therapy.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home programs.
- Recommend appropriate communication strategies and assistive devices when needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure patient safety during therapy and swallowing-related interventions.
- Follow professional, safety, and infection control standards.
Qualifications:
- Current Speech Language Pathologist license as required by the state.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Clinical experience preferred.
- Knowledge of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented.
Pay Rate
$66.37 - $71.24/hour
