Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Position Summary
Provide skilled speech and language therapy to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Evaluate patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and support improved communication, swallowing, and functional independence.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home programs.
- Recommend appropriate communication strategies and assistive devices.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow patient safety, infection-control, and clinical standards.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current and active state Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required as applicable.
- Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$66.37 - $71.24/hour
