Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Position Summary
Provide evaluation and treatment for patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Develop individualized therapy plans to improve communication, swallowing safety, and functional independence.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication and swallowing function.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment as needed.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow patient safety, infection-control, and clinical standards.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred/required as applicable.
- Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Strong communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with patients across diverse clinical settings.
Pay Rate
$52.68 - $57.56/hour
