Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Provide skilled evaluation and treatment for patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. The Speech-Language Pathologist will develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and educate patients and caregivers to improve communication and functional independence.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy to improve communication, speech, cognition, and swallowing function.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic strategies and home programs.
- Recommend appropriate communication and swallowing aids when indicated.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required as applicable.
- Previous clinical experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
Pay Rate
$60.28 - $65.16/hour
