Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. The SLP will develop individualized treatment plans, educate patients and caregivers, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve communication, safety, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Provide speech, language, cognitive, and dysphagia therapy using evidence-based practices
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress
  • Recommend adaptive communication devices and swallowing strategies when appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of practice
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred or as required by the facility
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team

Pay Rate
$60.28 - $65.16/hour
