Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. The SLP will develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based therapy, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to improve communication abilities, swallowing function, and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive speech-language and swallowing evaluations
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Provide therapy for speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Perform dysphagia assessments and recommend appropriate dietary modifications and swallowing strategies
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, communication techniques, and home exercise programs
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and case managers to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning, discharge planning, and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies
- Promote patient independence through compassionate, evidence-based rehabilitation care
Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of practice
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred or required based on assignment
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Speech-Language Pathology experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Excellent communication, documentation, critical-thinking, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred

Pay Rate
$66.37 - $71.24/hour
