Special Education Teacher
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. The Special Education Teacher will develop and implement educational plans, foster an inclusive learning environment, and collaborate with families and school staff to promote student success.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) based on student needs.
• Adapt instructional methods and materials to support diverse learning abilities.
• Provide individual and small-group instruction to promote academic and developmental progress.
• Monitor student performance and modify teaching strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and educational records.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted Special Education teaching license or certification.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of individualized instruction and special education best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Previous experience working with students with special needs preferred.
Pay Rate
$56.48 - $61.36/hour
