Scrub Technician (Scrub Tech)
We are seeking a skilled Scrub Technician to assist the surgical team during operative procedures. The Scrub Tech will maintain a sterile field, prepare surgical instruments, and ensure efficient support throughout surgery.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room, instruments, and sterile supplies.
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
- Pass instruments, sutures, and supplies to the surgeon during procedures.
- Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts before, during, and after surgery.
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and preparation.
- Clean, inspect, sterilize, and restock surgical instruments and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, and operating room procedures.
- Previous Scrub Tech or Operating Room experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$52.85 - $57.72/hour
