Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions. The RRT will assess respiratory status, administer treatments, operate advanced respiratory equipment, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Assess and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Administer respiratory therapies, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medications.
• Operate and manage ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and pulmonary function testing as needed.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and assist with airway management.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and state license, as required.
• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications preferred based on patient population.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures, ventilator management, and critical care practices.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Previous acute care, critical care, or hospital respiratory therapy experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$54.37 - $59.25/hour
