Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized care to critically ill and medically complex patients. The RN will closely monitor patient conditions, administer treatments and medications, manage critical care equipment, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments and continuously monitor critically ill patients.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and other clinical parameters.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments as ordered.
- Manage and monitor ventilators, IV pumps, cardiac monitors, and other critical care equipment.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Assist with procedures and provide emergency and resuscitative care as needed.
- Develop and update individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and critical care standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted RN license.
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Previous ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of critical care practices and patient monitoring.
- Excellent clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-acuity environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.
Pay Rate
$68.09 - $72.97/hour
