RN – Unit Manager

We are seeking an experienced RN – Unit Manager to oversee daily nursing operations and ensure safe, high-quality patient care within an assigned unit. The Unit Manager will lead nursing staff, coordinate patient care, monitor clinical standards, and support efficient unit operations.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily nursing operations and patient care activities.
Supervise, support, and guide nursing staff.
Coordinate staffing, schedules, assignments, and workflow.
Monitor patient conditions, care plans, and clinical outcomes.
Ensure medications, treatments, and nursing procedures are provided appropriately.
Address patient care concerns and operational issues promptly.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Promote infection control, patient safety, and quality standards.
Educate, coach, and support staff development.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Assist with performance improvement and unit initiatives.
Maintain a professional, safe, and patient-focused environment.

Qualifications:

Current, unrestricted RN license.
Nursing degree from an accredited program.
Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Experience in an acute care, long-term care, or applicable healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient safety, and quality standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.

Pay Rate
$59.52 - $64.40/hour
