RN – Unit Manager
We are seeking an experienced RN – Unit Manager to oversee daily nursing operations and ensure safe, high-quality patient care within an assigned unit. The Unit Manager will lead nursing staff, coordinate patient care, monitor clinical standards, and support efficient unit operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily nursing operations and patient care activities.
- Supervise, support, and guide nursing staff.
- Coordinate staffing, schedules, assignments, and workflow.
- Monitor patient conditions, care plans, and clinical outcomes.
- Ensure medications, treatments, and nursing procedures are provided appropriately.
- Address patient care concerns and operational issues promptly.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Promote infection control, patient safety, and quality standards.
- Educate, coach, and support staff development.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist with performance improvement and unit initiatives.
- Maintain a professional, safe, and patient-focused environment.
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted RN license.
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in an acute care, long-term care, or applicable healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient safety, and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
Pay Rate
$59.52 - $64.40/hour
