Basic Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to oversee the daily operations of a nursing unit in a Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing facility. The RN Unit Manager will be responsible for supervising nursing staff, coordinating resident care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of quality patient care. The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support nursing staff on the assigned unit.
Coordinate and oversee individualized resident care plans.
Perform patient assessments and monitor clinical outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments as needed.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and EMR records.
Assist with admissions, discharges, and care coordination.
Mentor and educate nursing staff to promote quality care.
Foster a safe, patient-centered environment while ensuring excellent resident outcomes.
Pay Rate
$59.52 - $64.40/hour
