RN – Surg/Ortho
We are seeking a skilled Surgical/Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures and those with orthopedic conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients and develop individualized nursing care plans.
Monitor vital signs, pain levels, surgical sites, mobility, and changes in patient condition.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
Provide post-operative and orthopedic care, including wound care and mobility support.
Educate patients and families on medications, recovery, mobility, and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, therapists, and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow safety and infection prevention standards.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current RN license as required by the state.
Current BLS certification.
Previous surgical, orthopedic, medical-surgical, or acute-care nursing experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
