Job Title: RN – Respiratory / 3 East
Position Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care to patients with respiratory and medical conditions. The RN will assess patients, monitor respiratory status, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide safe and effective care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and monitor respiratory and overall health conditions.
- Monitor vital signs, oxygen levels, and changes in patient status.
- Administer medications, oxygen therapy, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
- Assist with respiratory treatments and procedures.
- Monitor patients using respiratory equipment and other medical devices.
- Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Follow infection control and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Medical-surgical or respiratory care experience preferred.
- Knowledge of respiratory conditions, treatments, and patient care.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or required based on facility requirements.
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Pay Rate
$52.85 - $57.72/hour
