JOB DESCRIPTION
RN - Psych
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
· Current New York State License and Registration as a Registered Professional Nurse
· Minimum of 1-2 years of inpatient pediatric and/or psychiatric nursing experience, preferably in child/adolescent behavioral health
· Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training
· Willingness to complete training in behavioral health nursing, including trauma-informed care and/or crisis prevention within 6 months of hire
Preferred:
· Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with children and adolescents in psychiatric or acute care settings
· Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
· Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (PMHN-BC)
· Experience in acute psychiatric settings with an emphasis on trauma-informed care, crisis prevention, and therapeutic engagement
Pay Rate
$59.12 - $64.00/hour
