Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care across a variety of healthcare settings. The RN will assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans
- Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in health status, and respond appropriately
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
- Coordinate and provide direct patient care while ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient care planning
- Respond effectively to emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols, HIPAA regulations, patient safety standards, and facility policies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Promote a compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care environment
Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- ACLS certification preferred or required based on assignment
- Minimum 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, patient assessment, medication administration, and clinical care practices
- Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care
Pay Rate
$66.96 - $71.83/hour
