Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU RN)
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide specialized care to patients requiring close monitoring and intermediate-level care in the Progressive Care Unit. The PCU RN will assess patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other advanced monitoring equipment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong clinical assessment, telemetry monitoring, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit environment.
• Previous Progressive Care (PCU), Step-Down, Telemetry, or Critical Care experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$52.85 - $57.72/hour
