Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU
We are seeking a skilled PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized post-anesthesia care and closely monitor patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients recovering from anesthesia.
- Monitor airway, vital signs, cardiac status, and level of consciousness.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain/nausea treatments as prescribed.
- Recognize and respond to post-operative complications and emergencies.
- Assess readiness for transfer or discharge according to protocols.
- Communicate patient status with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
- Active RN license as required by state regulations.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- PALS preferred based on patient population.
- Previous PACU, ICU, OR, or critical care experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
