Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Dialysis
We are seeking a skilled Outpatient Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe and comprehensive care to patients receiving hemodialysis treatments in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients before, during, and after dialysis treatments.
- Monitor vital signs, fluid balance, and patient response to treatment.
- Initiate, monitor, and discontinue dialysis treatments according to established protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor vascular access sites and identify potential complications.
- Educate patients on dialysis care, medications, diet, and fluid management.
- Respond to treatment-related emergencies and changes in patient condition.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
- Collaborate with nephrologists and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
- Active RN license as required by state regulations.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Previous hemodialysis/dialysis nursing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of renal care, dialysis procedures, vascular access, and patient assessment.
- Excellent clinical, communication, and patient education skills.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
