Position Summary
We are seeking a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe and comprehensive care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. The RN will assess patients, administer treatments, monitor progress, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
- Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care as needed.
- Perform wound care and assist with drains, oxygen therapy, and other treatments.
- Recognize and promptly report changes in patient condition.
- Educate patients and families regarding care, medications, and recovery.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
- Follow infection control, safety, and patient care standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Medical-Surgical or acute care experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Pay Rate
$70,000.00 - $104,000.00/year
