Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical
We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to provide safe, compassionate care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. The RN will assess patient needs, administer treatments and medications, monitor clinical conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and changes in patient condition.
- Provide wound care, catheter care, specimen collection, and other nursing procedures.
- Assist patients with mobility, activities of daily living, and recovery.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Educate patients and families regarding care, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and professional nursing standards.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Previous Medical-Surgical or acute care experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of medical-surgical nursing and patient care.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.
Pay Rate
$45.22 - $50.10/hour
