RN – Med/Surg
Position Summary
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. Monitor patient status, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support safe recovery.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and prescribed treatments.
- Monitor patient condition and recognize changes or complications.
- Provide wound care and assist with post-operative recovery.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatment, medications, and discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and clinical standards.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current RN license in the applicable state.
- Previous Med/Surg or acute-care nursing experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong clinical, communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Pay Rate
$64.28 - $69.16/hour
