Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care to adult patients with medical, surgical, and post-operative conditions. The RN will assess patients, administer medications and treatments, monitor clinical changes, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and prescribed treatments.
Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, pain levels, and changes in patient condition.
Provide wound care, catheter care, specimen collection, and other nursing procedures.
Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient education.
Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
Follow infection prevention, HIPAA, patient safety, and organizational policies.
Participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities.

Required Qualifications:

Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
Current BLS certification required.
Minimum 1 year of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of patient assessment, medication administration, care planning, and acute nursing care.
Excellent communication, critical-thinking, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
